"Have you been teaching biomimicry in your university or college classroom? If so, we invite you to share your experiences with a broader audience. We are soliciting abstracts for a webinar on teaching biomimicry in higher education, to be held on January 29, 2011. Potential topics include functional biology, using biology to guide design, evaluation of biologically inspired designs, applications to design process, and use of biomimicry in business. Potential areas of education include industrial design, engineering, business, and architecture.
If you are interested in participating, please submit a one-page abstract to Curt McNamara by October 30. Submissions will be peer reviewed and published online. Participants will have 10 minutes to present their work and can submit a 5-10 page paper for electronic publication."
